Festival Car 2025: in Revigliasco the Ferrari F40 reigns supreme
For one day, the streets of Revigliasco Torinese breathed the history and the future of the automobile. Over 5,000 enthusiasts crowded the pedestrianized streets and squares for the fourth edition of Festival Car, held on Sunday, 28 September 2025. More than 80 cars from around the world created a unique journey through history, design, and performance, turning the Turin hillside village into an international salon dedicated to four wheels.
Ferrari F40 crowned Best of Show
The day’s highlight came at the end: the Ferrari F40 won over jury and public alike, securing the Best of Show title and the trophy designed by Giugiaro Architettura in collaboration with Alcantara. “The Ferrari F40 prevailed because it embodies the perfect balance between technical innovation and timeless emotion,” said Federico Ferrero, Chair of the Jury, underscoring the legendary status of a model that continues to stir generations of enthusiasts.
Awarded cars and iconic models
Alongside the F40’s triumph, other standouts took the stage: the Abarth 1000 SP, honored with the Bosch Award; the Lancia Flaminia Super Sport Zagato, winner of the Michelin Award; and the muscular Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3, which claimed the Autoappassionati Award. Among the most refined classics, the Maserati A6G Frua Spyder Series III prevailed in the Senior category, confirming the event’s mission to celebrate elegance and performance across every era of motoring.
The public enjoyed a century of automotive excellence: from the pioneering Lancia Lambda to 1950s sports cars, through masterpieces such as the Lurani Nibbio, Pininfarina-signed models, the iconic Lancia Delta Integrale Evoluzione, and dream youngtimers like the BMW Z8 Roadster. Applause also for the spectacular AC Cobra 427, which brought a dose of pure American power to the heart of the Turin hills.
Unique pieces and concept cars were well represented: from the futuristic Ferrari Mythos to the ultra-rare Pagani Alisea, and the original Autobianchi A112 Runabout from the Bertone collection. Among the most surprising debuts, Automobili Mignatta Rina drew attention with its carbon-fiber barchetta, powered by a 500-hp V8 and handcrafted in just 30 units per year.
Heritage, design, and sustainable innovation
The program featured the traditional Tour d’Elegance, starting from the Royal Castle of Moncalieri, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and arriving in the streets of Revigliasco animated by music, street food, and charitable initiatives. The dynamic run of the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale—an enduring icon of Italian design—thrilled the crowd.
A look to the future came with the world premiere of the Microlino “55 Edition,” a one-off developed with ERRE Company and Alcantara: an electric microcar that brought a touch of innovation and sustainability to an event dedicated to the automobile myth.
FIVA recognition
2025 marked a key milestone for Festival Car: inclusion in the FIVA (Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens) international calendar as a Premiere Event. During the day, Cypriot FIVA Steward George Ioannides presented Federico Ferrero with the Spirit of FIVA Award, recognizing the event’s high organizational standards and international scope. Born in 2022 from Autoappassionati.it with the Pro Loco of Revigliasco Torinese, the event continues to grow year after year.
“Festival Car has become a meeting point for collectors, enthusiasts, and institutions,” Ferrero commented. “The public’s response and FIVA’s recognition confirm the strength of a format that brings together culture, design, and territory.”
A village turned into an automotive salon
Revigliasco Torinese confirmed itself as the ideal setting to welcome thousands of visitors and transform into an international stage for automotive elegance. A free, open event—supported by partners such as Alcantara, Bosch, Lechler, Microlino, and Michelin—capable of combining past and future, heritage and innovation.
Communications and press office activities were managed by PressMediaLAB, which coordinated journalist invitations and accreditations, the media ride in the Microlino parade, as well as interviews and coverage of the world premiere of the new Microlino “55 Edition” during the press conference.
The Festival Car Concours d’Elegance—growing year after year—was organized by Autoappassionati.it, the team led by Federico Ferrero, which, together with PressMediaLAB, coordinated the parade, the event, and communications, transforming the hillside village of Revigliasco Torinese into an open-air salon devoted to the passion for four wheels.
