Reale Group and Lifenet: the communication of a strategic operation led by PressMediaLAB
On July 21st, the setting of the Hotel Excelsior Gallia in Milan was chosen to formalize a new corporate transaction in the healthcare sector. In front of the main national media outlets and press agencies, Reale Group presented the acquisition of 78% of the share capital of Lifenet S.p.A. Communicating an agreement of this significance required flawless information management. A strategic challenge that saw PressMediaLAB on the front line, which, as the supporting agency for the Company’s Press Office, joint-designed the overall strategy for every phase of the communication path, orchestrating the entire journey and coordinating media coverage.
Specifically, activities kicked off previously through proposals, planning, touchpoints, editing, distribution, and follow-up starting last February on the occasion of the signing, highlighting the main key messages and the different information targets. Subsequently, during the closing process, a press silence period was observed to protect the confidentiality of corporate negotiations; concurrently, the Press Office maintained active media monitoring and sentiment analysis to prepare the most suitable path for the final stages.
Once the closing was formalized, activities effectively focused on organizing the press event in Milan. On the media relations front, PressMediaLAB managed the dispatch of Save the Dates, guest reception, and the preparation of the press kit, including the Company Profiles of Reale Group and Lifenet, while on an organizational level, the work covered location scouting, supplier coordination, and space branding.
At the same time, the event’s content infrastructure—one of the key pillars of the activity—was carefully curated. The Press Office supported the development of materials presented during the conference, coordinated institutional interviews, managed photo and video coverage, and distributed the press release.
The information flow also involved social media channels, through coordination with the social media team for publishing the news on the Group’s LinkedIn page and the subsequent sharing of a video recap of the event. Finally, media monitoring activities ensured publication follow-up, press review compilation, and result analysis.
In summary, PressMediaLAB managed the communication for the entire operation through an integrated approach. The ability to align activities with the specific needs of the corporate process made it possible to harmonize the impact of the news, ensuring a consistent and timely flow of information to the press, partners, and all stakeholders involved.
